Fashion as Experiment: The ’60s
Friday, September 22 - September 24, 2023 | 11 AM to 4 PM. Fashion as Experiment features more than eighty garments and accessories from the Museum’s collection that illustrate the tumultuous mood of the decade, ranging from hippie looks to ready-to-wear designs by André Courrèges, Emilio Pucci, and Vera Neumann. This varied selection illustrates how 1960s youth mobilized fashion as a place for debate, activism, and imagination—and as a driver of social and political change.

It is a beer, wine, liquor, mead and cider tasting type of festival with food, craft and other vendors, including Nort Port The Cheese Ball Company. This is a great event for the Kutztown community and a great way to bring breweries, wineries, meaderies, cideries, and distilleries from across the state of Pennsylvania to one location. Music this year provided by Sometime in September Band. They are an 8-piece band with a rhythm, horn, and vocal section, bringing you the best hits from the last 50 years.
